About Jaycee

Hi I’m Jaycee Kluge and I'm so glad your here! Let me introduce myself so you can get to know me a little. I was born near Half moon Bay, Ca and have loved the Sea since then. The power and the elegance has always captivated my attention, and thus I have chosen it as part of my serene theme at Skin Oasis. My family moved to Grass Valley, Ca when I was only 5 years old and little did I know, I would come to love this small town. It's here that I grew up dancing, learned much about the person I am, and have been fortunate enough to fall in love with my best friend, get married, and built a home together.

Growing up with 3 older sisters, 2 younger sisters, and at a young age becoming an aunt to 4 little ladies, my life has always been all things GIRL. I would wake up early with my sisters as they got ready for school, and if they let me.. I could use their straightener and put on their lip gloss. Ah yes, the introduction to the beauty world, passed down from women to women.  I loved it all, the lotions, nail polish, makeup, and the face scrub. I remember having spa parties at my grandmas, and hosting little spa parties with my friends where we would put on face masks and enjoy the pampering. As an early teen, my mom bought me my very own skincare line off QVC and unwrapped the experience of a skin regimen. I enjoyed the ritual and the way taking the time to care for myself made me feel.

As I got older, my love of femininity and self expression broadened into other aspects, as I devoted much of my life to the movement of ballet. It made me feel free, delicate, and strong. I started teaching ballet and continued for 5 years thinking that would be my career, it turned out I didn’t love teaching as much as I loved being the one taught. Since then I’d have a variety of jobs from modeling, to being a PT aid, and lastly helping adults with disabilities. I began to wonder what I could do, that I would continue to love for years to come. Simultaneously I began to notice a shift in my skin, being in my early 20s I was experiencing hormone changes, dietary restrictions, breakouts, and inflammation that I had no idea how to address. The internet swarmed me as it made me feel even more lost..I knew i needed something personalized. This peaked my interest of skincare on a scientific level. Why do certain products work for some people and not others? How do I know which ingredients I need? I was diving deep into the world of skincare on my own.

On a particular visit to my esthetician and good friend, I was expressing my desire to find a new career, and when she asked what I would like to do, I realized in that split moment the an esthetician career was exactly what I was looking for. She encouraged me that I could do it, and not just that, but that I would LOVE it. After a lot of research and support from my loved ones, I was able to attend Citrus Heights Beauty College. It was there that I was able to connect the dots to specific skin concerns in relation to other functions of the human body, and gain my foundation of esthetics. I thoroughly enjoyed the education I received and was excited to be on this never ending path of learning. With the help of my teachers, I gained the confidence needed to impart what I've learned to others. So here I am! Your future skin specialist. If you were to ask me my favorite  part of being an esthetician, I would tell you there is a considerable amount of aspects I love. But mostly I love that I get the opportunity to help people rejuvenate their natural glow!

Xx Your Estie,
